To state the obvious, I am a "Buffy the Vampire Slayer" blogger, and I also occasionally write about "Angel" and other [Joss] Whedon projects.
I am based in England and my first introduction to Whedon came at a young age. I was lucky enough to grow up at a time where new "Buffy the Vampire Slayer" episodes would air on BBC2 -- if my memory serves me correctly, episodes would air on a Tuesday night at around six o'clock. When "Angel" was thrown into the mix, it would air an hour after BTVS. I saw very little of ATS as I was so young. I also missed out on "Firefly" and I hadn't even heard of "Dollhouse" until I joined Whedon forums on the internet.
I have seen BTVS more times than I care to remember, and though I love all of Whedon's projects, the Buffyverse is without a doubt my favourite. The character development is what stands out to me the most, which is why I love writing about the human element, which is perhaps ironic seeing as the series has "vampire" in the title.
My perspective on certain elements of the series' may not always match the general conscientious of thought amongst fans, but I like to simply throw another point of view out into the ether.
There is a tab on my site where you can view parts of my ever-growing collection. I predominantly collect trading cards and I sometimes write about them as they are a somewhat niche subject.
If you would like to have your art, page or anything else Whedon related featured on my blog, please contact me on my personal Facebook profile Cassandra Jane Hannigan. When I write articles based on fan's art, I do not criticice -- I will feature the pieces that you ask of me and I will provide the link(s) you send me to your shop and/or website as an example.
