What is a series without fan girls/boys? Pointless, that's what. Without fans, we, of course, would not have fan pages -- one of the best parts about being in a fandom. Whedon fans are veterans when it comes to keeping the spirit of a series alive, which is exactly what I will be writing about today.
One page in particular stands out to me, and it deserves to be showcased to my lovely readers. At its forefront, it has a wonderfully passionate owner and it never fails to entertain new and old fans alike. The page in question is Whedon World, ran by a super-talented writer, Jill Robi.
Jill and I had a lovely chat in private messages (she's a delight to talk to!), before we went on to do a mini-interview of sorts. She was also fabulous enough to provide some truly excellent photos of her with some BTVS alums, one of which I used as the header photo (as a big Angel fan, I couldn't resit!). Without any further ado, here is the interview...

When was the page founded?
February, 2013
What is the story/origin behind the page?
Initially, the page began as a way to get Nicholas Brendon (and other Whedon alumni) to more Wizard World cons. The page began as "Whedon World at Wizard World," and overtime evolved into Whedon World--a general Whedonverse page (including updates on the actors, as well as discussions about the characters).
What content do you share?
Oh gosh, a plethora of things. Many pages have links, but my page offers commentary and randomness and rewatches (oh my!). I don't know, but I do try my best to make it as unique as possible.
What is unique about your page?
I guess #3 kind of ties into this answer. Um, I've given the page a voice--my voice. Also the voice of my admin, Lani Akers. We offer up very particular perspectives, I think.
How I became a fan: I'm one of the few who saw and fell in love with the film. Kristy [Swanson] inspired me to take gymnastics, and I felt as if I could kick butt. The only women positive images [I recall] at that time were Buffy and Xena.
I didn't get my valley girl fix again until "Clueless," and I didn't get the full Buffy view again until the series started in '97. I was skeptical at first, but was hooked after the first ep/season. I kind of fell off during s4, but s5 brought me back with a vengeance (also "Restless," because I wasn't sure what was happening, but I got caught up and continued onward).
Favorite Episode: I have so many, but will refuse to choose only one...and will opt with choosing two (one from each show)-- "Tabula Rasa" and "Spin the Bottle." I wish both respective eps had been made two-parters. There was so much character development to explore like that! I heart emoticon character development and exploration. Which leads me to the next question--
Favorite Character: My top three favorite characters are Spike, Angel and Cordelia. They experienced, I think, the most changes throughout the course of both series, and they all have heart. Spike is one of my most favorite characters of all time. He captured me from second one onscreen. Smoking and in vamp face. I was done for.

Once again, I would like to thank Jill for allowing me to showcase her page, and for answering my questions (it was my first time ever doing an interview!). In my opinion, pages/sites are another form of art within a fandom. Most fans have at least one fan page in their Facebook "likes", but with so many to choose from, it can be daunting.. If you are going to "like" just one, I suggest Whedon World.
